Spectacular Kutch




Kutch is a heavenly and mesmerising destination in Gujarat, best known for hosting the Rann Festival from November to February. As the largest district of India, Kutch boasts of fantastic landscapes, mind blowing cultural traits, and awe-inspiring history.


The Great Rann of Kutch, is a large area of salt marshland, is located in the District of Kutch, in the western state of India, Gujarat. The vast expanse is situated in the Thar Desert and is formed of salt marshes. Sunsets at the Great Rann of Kutch are a treat to the eyes after exploring the region. 

The region is divided into two parts, the Great Rann of Kutch and Little Rann of Kutch and comprises of massive deposits of salt in the desert. These deposits are known for producing a mirage, and many pilgrims have shared stories about witnessing optical illusion that seem as good as real. 

The picturesque town of Bhuj has spectacular scenery. Bhuj the former capital of native state of Kutch is now the headquarters of the district. Located rather low, it is basically an amphitheatre of hills dominated by the Bhuja Hill that rises to a height of 160 m at one end and is a landmark being flat on top, surmounted by the fortifications of a hill fort. The Mandvi beach is one of the most serene beaches on the Northwestern shore. Its the perfect destination to come and relax with family and friends during winter mornings.
