One of the many national parks in the Andaman Islands is the Mount Harriet National Park, which is considered as the main attraction and highest peak in the Archipelago of South Andaman.  The main feature of Mount Harriet is its fauna and natural flora, which are up to now still unmatched.  Just like a forest, Mount Harriet is covered with greenery and Port Blair can be seen from the top of the mount’s peak.

Mount Harriet was named after British soldier Robert Christopher Tytler’s wife Harriet.  Aside from being a soldier, Tytler was a photographer and a nature lover hence he was able to capture the beauty of the area.  From his pictures, you can see the islands around Mount Harriet with breathtaking beauty. Tytler was also served as the Superintendent of the Convict Settlement located in Port Blair from 1862 to 1864.  It take 15 – 20 minutes by boat from Port Blair to Bamboo flat and another 15 – 20 minutes by road from Bamboo flat to Mount Harriet.

Schönbrunn Palace is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and Austria’s most visited tourist attraction. For centuries the palace served as the summer home of the Habsburgs, and to this day reflects the interests and tastes of the Habsburg monarchs. Schönbrunn is considered to be one of Europe’s most impressive Baroque palace complexes and Austria’s most significant cultural monument.

The Schönbrunn estate came into Habsburg possession in 1569 through Maximillian II. It passed to many successors, who did little more than use it as a hunting ground. The creation of Schönbrunn Palace can be attributed to Emperor Leopold I. In 1693, he commissioned Baroque architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, to build a grand hunting lodge for his son, and heir to the throne, Joseph I. Unfortunately, Joseph died suddenly in 1711 before the palace was completed, halting construction for many years.

A tour through the Louvre Museum's extensive galleries provides a crash course in Western Civilization's finest art. Some of the world's most famous masterpieces are on display here, including the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci and the Vénus de MiloA large number of the museum's paintings were owned by the various kings who lived in the Louvre when it was a royal residence; other pieces were acquired through France's treaties with the Vatican and the Venetian Republic. The collection was further enriched by the spoils of Napoléon I.

The world's largest museum, the Musée du Louvre packs thousands of artworks into a 73,000-square-meter exhibition space in three sections: the Denon, Richelieu, and Sully wings, in a magnificent building that was once the palace of French kings. Each wing has more than 70 rooms displaying paintings and objects of art, plus there are enormous halls filled with sculptures. It's impossible to see the entire collection in one day or even in a week.
